The nights are drawing in and there’s a slight chill in the air, and what better way to say goodbye to summer than with a community harvest celebration. And that’s just what Bandstand Beds and The Spinney nursery are planning with our Common People Feast on Saturday 8 October, from midday until 4pm
There’ll be gardening, natural thinkers and lots of other fun activities for everyone… Dr Bike will be carrying out cycle maintenance while the Police SNT security mark your property, and it will all be happening on Windmill Drive which will be closed for the day.
And of course, there will be lots of delicious food cooked on the Brixton People’s Kitchen mobile cooker, made with the fresh, home-grown veg from our community garden on Clapham Common.
