What a brilliantly sunny weekend we had for the Clapham Manor Planting Day. Everyone had a fantastic time with Father Nature (fatnature.blogspot.co.uk) preparing the beds, while all the people who came along planted out beans, squash, strawberries, raspberries and loads of other delicious veggies and fruit to feast on later in the year. Meanwhile, River of Flowers (riverofflowers.org) was planting out wildflowers to feed bees and butterflies that will pollinate our crops. Thanks to everyone who came along!

Our next gardening session on Clapham Common will be at the Spinney Beds, off Windmill Drive, on Saturday 7 June at 10am. If you have any suggestion of food you’d like to grow then send us an email.

Look forward to seeing you soon.
