Our volunteer-led organisation started with a few raised by the cafe near the Bandstand, and from those humble beginnings has become a valuable community asset on Clapham Common. We now manage three growing spaces on the Common: our namesake beds next to Pear Tree Cafe at the Bandstand, fruit beds near the toilet block, and our large community garden on Windmill Drive – a fantastic food growing, wildlife and social hub. Now in our 13th year, and we are still growing strong.
