Halloween Happening Pathway Launch

What could be better than being out in the autumn sunshine on Clapham Common, enjoying fab good and fun activities surrounded by lots of friendly faces? Well, our Halloween Happening Pathway Launch certainly had all of that. Then then along came the scary faces…

Be afraid!

As well as jack o’lantern carving there was leaf printing and ghostly, ghastly gingerbread things going on.

But before these spicy spooks had chance to metamorphose into full-grown hobnob zombies they were quickly rendered harmless by our apprentice witches who gobbled them up.

Hubble, bubble, toil and… crumbs!

And for anyone who still felt in the slightest bit afraid there was backup protection from our troop of archers being trained up by Tom form Better Leisure, who donated to our Spacehive project.

Meanwhile Diana and Olivia were in the kitchen cooking a spook-tacular array of dishes for us all to tuck into. Followed by scrummy cakes and pies made from our very own home-grown pumpkins.

Pie-tastic, cake-alicious, expialidocious!

All in all it was a fabulous afternoon, thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who came along. And of course, they all admired our fantastic new pathways, which is what we were all celebrating!

If you couldn’t make it along to this event don’t worry, there’s always plenty happening in our garden on Saturdays. We’re there from 10am until around 1.30pm – with tea and cake usually served up around 11.30pm.

So why not drop in and see us?
